Vehicle Recalls
Every vehicle safety recall from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is listed on this page. We cover cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, RVs, trailers, tires, child car seats, and vehicle equipment going back to 2015. New recalls show up here within hours of NHTSA publishing them.
The most common reasons for vehicle recalls include problems with airbags, brakes, fuel systems, steering components, electrical wiring, and software. One important thing to know: recall repairs are always free. By law, the manufacturer has to fix the problem at no cost to you regardless of how old the car is or how many miles are on it. You can filter by make and model year below to find recalls for your vehicle, or head over to our VIN Check tool to look up your specific car using its 17-character identification number.
