Affected Products

The consoles were sold with Vision Fitness treadmill frames and control the operation of the treadmill. 2006 Premier Consoles can be identified by the word Premier or T9700HRT printed on the console face under the Vision Fitness logo. These consoles were sold under model numbers TCFP6, TCPP6 and C9700H6. Model numbers are printed on the underside of the console and located on the serial number tag. The following serial numbers are included in the recall: Model TCPP6: Serial numbers TC175B05060002 through TC175B05080480. Model TCFP6: Serial numbers TC176B05060002 through TC176B05080309. Model TC9700H6: Serial numbers TC184B05070012 through TC18405080143.

Why Was This Recalled?

Due to a programming defect with the console, the treadmill can unexpectedly increase in speed and elevation when the User Programs 4 or 5 are set for longer than 30 minutes. If this happens, the user could fall and suffer injuries.
