BRP U.S. Inc. Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Fire Hazard
What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Consumers should stop using these vehicles immediately and contact any Ski-Doo dealer to schedule a free repair. Consumers with recalled snowmobiles are being sent a direct notice from BRP.
Affected Products
The recall involves the following Ski-Doo® Models: Model Color 2007 and 2008 Expedition TUV V800 Deep Red/Black 2007 and 2008 Skandic SWT V-800 Yellow/Black The model names are located on the side panel.
Why Was This Recalled?
Friction between the fuel hose and the cylinder head cover can cause the hose to pierce. This can cause fuel to leak out, posing a fire hazard.
