What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Shyft Group will remove and replace the steering gear, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 21, 2024. Owners may contact Shyft Group customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 24-01.
Affected Products
2023 SPARTAN K3. Shyft Group is recalling certain 2023-2025 Spartan RV K2, K3, and K4 chassis. The steering gear may have foreign material inside the gear that could build pressure within the system, resulting in a loss of power steering assist.

A sudden loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
