2022 SPARTAN K2 Recalled by Shyft Group — FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS
What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 14, 2021. Owners may contact Shyft Group's customer service at 1-800-582-3454. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 21-18.
Affected Products
2022 SPARTAN K2. Shyft Group is recalling certain 2021-2022 Spartan RV Chassis K2 vehicles equipped with Cummins L9 Diesel Engines that have remote Stage 2 fuel filters and pressurized hoses. A fuel leak may occur from the fuel hose between the fuel pump and the remote fuel filter head.

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of a fire.
