What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Dealers will replace the alternator, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 8, 2023. Owners may contact Polaris' customer service at 1-855-863-2284. Polaris' number for this recall is T-23-01.

2023 POLARIS SLINGSHOT S. Polaris Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Slingshot R, Slingshot S with Technology Package 1, Slingshot SL, Slingshot SLR, and Slingshot S motorcycles. The alternator may have been improperly heat-treated during manufacturing.
Why Was This Recalled?
An improperly heat-treated alternator may crack and separate during operation, increasing the risk of a fire.
