2023 NOVA BUS LFS Recalled by Nova Bus (US) Inc. — STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST:HOSE, PIPING, AND CONNECTIONS
What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Nova Bus will inspect and replace the power steering hoses, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 10, 2023. Owners may contact Nova customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova's number for this recall is CR5451. This recall is an expansion of recall number 23V-054.
Affected Products
2023 NOVA BUS LFS. Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS transit buses. During the hose manufacturing, the power steering hose may not have been assembled correctly, which can result in hose fitting detachment and a loss of power steering assist.

Sudden loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
