What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will secure the trim with screws, free of charge. The recall began on August 16, 2016. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
Affected Products
2017 NEWMAR KING AIRE. Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain model year 2017 Dutch Star, Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and King Aire motorhomes manufactured December 4, 2015, to July 5, 2016. The affected vehicles have front fascia wood trim that may separate from the slide out and possibly contact the driver or a passenger.
Why Was This Recalled?
If the fascia separates and contacts the driver or a passenger, a loss of vehicle control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
