2017 INTERNATIONAL PROSTAR Recalled by Navistar, Inc. — ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY
What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will install a latch stop to prevent the latch from rotating to the unlatched position, free of charge. The recall began on January 27, 2017. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 16513.
Affected Products
2017 INTERNATIONAL PROSTAR. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2017 International ProStar, LoneStar, 9900i, and TranStar trucks. The affected vehicles have a metallic battery cover latch that may unlatch and contact the battery jump start stud, causing an electrical short to ground if the jump start stud is not covered.
