What You Should Do

Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.

Dealers will replace the tie rod end and re-align the front axle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 9, 2024. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 24511.

Affected Products

2025 INTERNATIONAL MV. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles. The tie rod assemblies may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure.

Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.
