These devices monitor and regulate the patient s heart rate by providing single or dual chamber rate responsive bradycardia pacing, sequential biventricular pacing, and atrial tachyarrhythmia therapies. These devices are indicated for heart failure patients who may have atrial arrhythmias or AV block.
