What You Should Do

Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.

Consumers should stop using the recalled basketball hoops immediately and contact Russell Brands for instructions on receiving free replacement bolts. If the product is installed in concrete, the firm will arrange for free deinstallation, repair and reinstallation of the product at the consumer's home.

This recall involves Spalding in-ground basketball hoops with a supporting pole and a clear backboard. The following models are included in the recall: Series Description Model Sold from MC Sports Series (sold exclusively at MC Sports) 88565G, 88565GT, 88567G, 88567GT 54" or 60" tempered glass, adjustable-height backboard January 2009 through April 2009 Triple Eight Series 88830, 88830G, 88830T, 88830GT, 88880G, 88880GT 60" or 72" acrylic or tempered glass, adjustable-height backboard January 2009 through July 2009 Arena View 886724FS 72" acrylic, fixed-height backboard January 2009 through July 2009
