What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Jayco has notified owners, and dealers will install a jam nut on top of the seat base nut, free of charge. The recall began on August 16, 2016. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903310.

2016 JAYCO PRECEPT. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Alante and Precept motorhomes manufactured October 13, 2014, to June 23, 2016. The affected vehicles have a driver seat that may loosen and detach from the seat base as a result of the seat having been swiveled around.
Why Was This Recalled?
If the seat detaches from the seat base while vehicle is being driven, the operator may lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.
