What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Dealers will inspect and repair suspension as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed by December 22, 2025. Owners will receive another notice once remedy becomes available, anticipated late May 2026. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25523.
Affected Products
2025 IC BUS CESB. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB school buses. While carrying the maximum number of occupants, the bus may exceed Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when the fuel tank and fluid reservoirs are full.
Why Was This Recalled?
An incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the bus, increasing the risk of a crash.
