What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Dealers will rewire the tail lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 9, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-358-0401. Forest River's number for this recall is 220-1535.
Affected Products
2022 COACHMEN APEX. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022 Coachmen Apex travel trailers. The tail lights may have been incorrectly wired to an "ON/OFF" switch, which can cause the brake or tail lights to not illuminate when the switch is in the "off" position.
Why Was This Recalled?
Brake or tail lights that fail to illuminate can reduce visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
