2017 DUCATI SUPERSPORT Recalled by Ducati North America — POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION
What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the gear lever shift knob tightness, replacing it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began January 14, 2019. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-888-391-5446. Ducati's number for this recall is SRV-RCL-18-007.
Affected Products
2017 DUCATI SUPERSPORT. Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Ducati Monster 1200, Monster 821, SuperSport and SuperSport S motorcycles. The shift lever may have been incorrectly assembled, possibly resulting in the shift knob detaching from the lever.
Why Was This Recalled?
If the shift knob detaches, the rider may not be able to shift gears, increasing the risk of a crash.
