The RETAIL label is read in parts: "***BASIC COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Pifaf: Bring 1 1/2 cups water and 1/4 tsp salt to a boil in a medium pot. Add 1 cup amaranth, reduce heat and simmer, covered until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes***Cereal: Bring 2 1/2 cups water and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil in a medium pot.
