CPSC, Aviva Sports Announce Recall to Repair Astroslide Water Slides
What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Consumers should immediately stop using these slides and contact Aviva Sports to request a free repair kit. After making the repair, consumers can resume using the product.
Affected Products
The Aviva Astroslide 17048 is a large, inflatable water slide measuring 5 feet high and 9 feet long. It is used for sliding into a pool or lake. "AVIVA AstroSlide" is written on the sides of the slide. The slide is green with orange handles.
Why Was This Recalled?
These water slides have an excessive length of rope attached to the safety mat, that presents a risk of entanglement in the water. This poses a drowning hazard to users.
