What You Should Do
Stop using this product immediately. Do not consume, use, or distribute it.
Arcimoto will notify owners and will replace the traction-power harnesses, free of charge. The recall began March 24, 2020. Owners may contact Arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293.
Affected Products
2020 ARCIMOTO FUV. Arcimoto Inc. (Arcimoto) is recalling certain 2019-2020 FUV motorcycles. The traction-power harnesses large-gauge cable-lugs may be improperly crimped.
Why Was This Recalled?
Improperly crimped cable lugs can cause loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, it can also cause localized high heat and arcing, increasing the risk of fire.
